View this post on Instagram (Best on 🎧) Dec escaped the emails and spread sheets to test out the first Yamaha SS-30 we've had here. Not a bad little string synth, and with a few effects it comes to life. The synth needs further assessment, but the effects used are all for sale on the site (that's a rare Schaller Rotor Sound we literally just listed, A/DA Flanger and clean RE-501), as is the PsyCo X Syncussion (which is just dry and being manually triggered). . And the reason to listen on 🎧 is because there's also a neat trick being demonstrated with the 501 - did you know you can have one input but two outputs if you plug a second lead into the XLR out? Here it allows Dec to route the signal through Flanger and Schaller separately and then pan the results for some stereo oscillations.
